Armeekreuz 1813-1814 – Army Cross 1813-1814
Instituted by Emperor Franz I and awarded to officers and soldiers participating in the wars against Napoleon. Because the cross was made from the bronze captured French guns, it was also called the cannon cross (Kanonenkreuz).
Vernz nice old original, on the loop official stamp of the Münzamt Wien (eagle in the romb).
Gilded bronze, very nice condition, with original suspension ring. With correct, but some later ribbon.
