Silberne Tapferkeitsmedaille I. Klasse – Silver Bravery Medal 1st Class
Version with portrait of Emperor Karl I., awarded 1917-1918. So called “big silver medal”, diameter 40 mm. Under portrait signed with punchcutter’s (medallist) name: Kautsch. Control stamp “A” on the rim (Hauptmünzamt Wien – Vienna Mint).
On the ribbon Wiederholungsspange (repeat clasp) for the 2nd awarding of the same class. Clasp without manufacturer’s mark.
Excellent condition, with nice shining in the backgound and great patina. On original triangle ribbon with clasp.
