Silberne Tapferkeitsmedaille I. Klasse – Silver Bravery Medal 1st Class
Version with portrait of Emperor Karl I., awarded 1917-1918. So called “big silver medal”, diameter 40 mm.
Under portrait signed with punchcutter’s (medallist) name: Kautsch. Control stamp “A” on the rim (Hauptmünzamt Wien – Vienna Mint).
On the ribbon double Wiederholungsspange (repeat clasp) for the 3rd awarding of the same class. Nice old clasp, marked by Zimbler, Wien VII.
Excellent condition, with nice shining in the backgound and great patina. On the original triangle ribbon with period clasp.
