Silbernes Verdienstkreuz – Silver Cross of Merit

Instituted 1849 by Emperor Franz Joseph I. Cross in gold, on war ribbon. Marked on the ring with manufacturers mark: Wilh. Kunz, Wien X. On the loop and on the ring star hallmark for bronze.

Gilded bronze, enameled. With intact enamel, small superficial glass chip on the bottom crossarm (back). On original old ribbon.
