Instituted 1849 by Emperor Franz Joseph I. Cross with crown, on red ribbon for civil or peacetime merits.
On the ring silver content mark (dog’s head 3) and manufacturer’s mark (not readable).
Silver, partially enameled. Excellent condition, with intact enamel. On the original old ribbon.
