Ehrenzeichen für Verdienste um das Rote Kreuz, Silberne Medaille – Honor Decoration for Services to the Red Cross, Silver Medal
Established on 17.8.1914 by the Emperor Franz Joseph I. to 50th Anniversary of Geneva Convention. Awarded for peace and wartime merits to the Red Cross (the last one with so called War Decoration as oak leaves and laurel wreath).
Version with War Decoration, awarded to a lady (on original ladies bow). At the loop silver content mark (head) and control Stamp A (Hauptmünzamt Wien = Vienna Mint).
Silver, with white enameled Red Cross shield and green enamaled wreath. Very nice condition, with intact enamel. On original ladies bow, some glue on the back of ribbon.
