Verwundetenmedaille “Laeso Militi” – Wound Medal

The last official decoration of Astro-Hungarian Empire. Established on 12.8.1917 by the Emperor Karl I. (and with his portrait). Version for one wound – with one stripe at the center of ribbon.

On the rim maker’s mark W&A for the manufacturer Winter & Adler, Wien (Vienna).

Zinc, very nice condition, on original old ribbon.
