Kriegserinnerungsmedaille 1914-1918 – Austrian Commemorative Medal to World War 1914-1918
Medal instituted 1932 by the Government of the Republic, for the participants in World War I. Due to inscription on the back called also Medal Für Österreich (For Austria). Version with swords, for combatants, who were in the War awarded with the Wound Medal, Karl-Troop Cross, Bravery Medal or an Austrian award with war decoration and swords. Awarded to soldiers of the K.u.K-Army as well other Central Powers Armies, who have served in Austrian units or on Austrian territory. This Medal appears often in the German or medal bars.
Bronze, very nice condition with nice patina. On original ribbon with swords.
