Grand Duchy of Baden. Medal instituted 11.11.1895 by Grand Duke Frierdich I. and with his portrait. Awarded to workers and male servants for at least 30 years of work in the same ratio. Entitled were also employees in the public service, z. B. at the railway, customs, etc.
First type, issued during the reign of Friedrich I. 1895-1908. Around the portrait inscription with old spelling GROSHERZOG (with one S).
Oxyded bronze, very nice condition. On original old ribbon.
