Established in 1866 by the King Ludwig II, together with the Militär-Verdienstorden (Military Merit Order).Third type, with enameled medallion, awarded 1913-1918.

Gilded metal, separatly mounted medallions, movable crown. Very nice condition, but gilt partially gone, enamel on medallion intact. On the original old ribbon.
