Established in 1866 by the King Ludwig II, together with the Militär-Verdienstorden (Military Merit Order).Third type, with enameled medallion, awarded 1913-1918.
In the original old award box, made by L. Chr. Lauer, Münzprägeanstalt, Nürnberg-Berlin
Silver, separatly mounted medallions. Very nice condition, enamel on medallion intact. With original old ribbon, in old award case.
