Establshed 1915 for war merit, simultaneously with the Hanseatic Crosses of cities Hamburg and Lübeck. Awarded to soldiers of local Infantry Regiment (1.Hanseatisches IR Bremen Nr.75), crew of the ship SMS Bremen and Bremen citiziens serving in other military units.

Silvered and enameled copper. Very nice condition, with intact enamel, on original long ribbon.
