Iron Cross from I. Word War, instituted on 5.8.1914 by Emperor Wilhelm II.

One piece construction, flat, non magnetic. No maker’s mark, but a known type, from the manufacturer Otto Schickle, Pforzheim. Scarce 2nd picnback-version (according to http://www.ek1-dna.de/)

Very nice condition, with almost intact blackening, pinset complete and working
