Iron Cross from I. Word War, instituted on 5.8.1914 by Emperor Wilhelm II. Cross 2nd Class, marked on the ring with makers mark LV89. Cross made by one of the small manufacturers belonging to Lieferverband für Eiserne Kreuze, Berlin (Deliverer Association of Iron Crosses in Berlin).

Excellent condition, iron core with intact blackening, fine patina. On original old ribbon.
