Iron Cross from I. Word War, instituted on 5.8.1914 by Emperor Wilhelm II. Cross 2nd Class, marked on the ring with makers mark EW. According to Frank Wernitz book, cross attributed to Emil Wiechmann, Goldschmiedemeister, Berlin.

Very good condition, on face blackening partially missing, some rust. Back of the core excellent, frame with nice patina. With unused ribbon from the old stock.
