Iron Cross from I. Word War, instituted on 5.8.1914 by Emperor Wilhelm II. Cross 2nd Class, marked on the ring with makers mark Fr. (manufactureräs mark partially readable, but this is the same cross as T148 in Wernitz catalog).

Cross attributed to Gebrüder Friedländer, Hofjuweliere in Berlin.

Very nice condition, iron core with intact blackening, great patina. On the long original ribbon.
