Iron Cross from I. Word War, instituted on 5.8.1914 by Emperor Wilhelm II.

Cross 2nd Class, marked on the ring with makers mark R. According to Frank Wernitz book, cross attributed to E. Rosenthal und Sohn, Hofjuweliere in Berlin.

Very nice condition, iron core with almost intact blackening, some rust at right corss arm on face. On original old ribbon.
