Iron Cross from I. Word War, instituted on 5.8.1914 by Emperor Wilhelm II. Cross 2nd Class, marked on the ring with makers mark W&S. One of many variants made by manufacturer Wagner & Sohn, Berlin.

Excellent condition, iron core with intact blackening, fine patina. On original old ribbon.
