Kollaan Risti – Battle of Kollaa Commemorative Cross

Commemorative Cross instituted on 5.5.1940 to the Battle of Kollaa River (Kollaanjoki) in the Winter War (defense against the Soviet invasion 1939-1940). It was the first commemorative cross for the Winter War. Awarded to soldiers of the 12th Division, defending Kollaa front.
