Lotta Svärd was a voluntary auxiliary paramilitary organisation for women, existing 1920-1944. During the Second World War, it mobilized to replace men conscripted into the army. It served in hospitals, at air raid warning positions, and other auxiliary tasks in close cooperation with the army.
Silver enameled, back awarding number 96955 and five hallmarks: OL for the manufacturer Oskar Lindroos, crown (country of origin: Finland), 813H (silver content), boat (city od manufaturing: Helsinki) and year code K6 (for the year 1939).
