Medal from the period of Wars of Kindred Nations (Heimosodat 1918-1922). Awarded for soldiers fighting in Carelia. Institutrd 1923, about 2500 Carelian medals were awarded.

On the ribbon bar with the date 1921. Bar was awarded for wounding in action.
