Established in November 1916 by the Conseil Municipal de la ville de Verdun (Municipal Council of the city of Verdun) in recognition of the willingness to sacrifice of the French and Allied soldiers who defended the city before the German troops. Fourth model, named Anonyme beacuse the unknown designer. Scarce type.
