Médaille Commémorative Française de la Grande Guerre 1914-1918 – French Commemorative Medal of the Great War 1914–1918
Established in on June 23rd 1920, awarded to soldiers of the French Army serving during the World War I, as well for war aid to medical staff, firefighters, police officers, home guards etc.
Design: Pierre-Alexandre Morlon (name on face)
Manufacturer: Monnaie de Paris (Paris Mint), marked at the back with mint mark (cornucopia) and BR for bronze.
Bronze, very nice condition, on the original old ribbon with double pin.
