Croix du combattant volontaire 1939-1945 – Volunteer Combatant’s Cross 1939-1945

Established on February 4th 1953 as similiar to decoration from WW1. Awarded to French volunteer combatants of WW2. 

Manufacturer: Monnaie de Paris (Paris Mint), marked at the back with mint mark (cornucopia) and BR for bronze. Standard size 34 mm.

Bronze, in very good condition, on the old original ribbon.
