Médaille de la Résistance Française – French Resistance Medal
Established in 1943 in London by Comité National Français under General Charles de Gaulle. Awarded for merits in the fight against the Nazis to the most distinguished fighters of the Resistance Movement and to the soldiers of the Free French Forces during World War II.
Manufacturer: Monnaie de Paris (Paris Mint), marked at the back with mint mark (cornucopia) and BR for bronze.
Bronze, very nice condition, on the original old ribbon.
