Establshed 1915 for war merit, simultaneously with the Hanseatic Crosses of cities Bremen and Lübeck. Awarded to soldiers of local Infantry Regiment (2.Hanseatisches IR Hamburg Nr.75), crew of the ship SMS Hamburg and Hamburg citiziens serving in other military units.

Silvered and enameled copper. Very nice condition, with intact enamel. With right ribbon of newer manufacturing.
