Decoration for NCO and enlisted ranks, instituted first time in 1833 by Grande Duke Ludwig II. Here clasp-form type, issued 1871 by Ludwig III. Awarded until 1913 (later replaced by medal with ribbon).
Blackened iron, very nice condition. On original ribbon on metal plate with pin-set.
