Item description
Two official documents of the Reichspräsident to an Oberpostdirektor (post district director) in Leipzig:
1. Ernennungsurkunde (certicificate of appoinment), issued 13.3.1929 in Berlin, folio-document (double sheet with four pages), dimensions 21 x 33 cm, printing on the first page only, light center fold.
2. Ruhestand-Versetzungsurkunde – retirement certificate, issued on 20.6.1930 in Berlin. Single sheet (originally possibly double-sheet), dimensions 21 x 29,5 cm, back empty, center fold and some stains
Both decorative certificates with big blindstamp (diameter 86 mm), on each of them two following signatures:
1. Original handwritten signature: Paul von Hindenburg, Reichspräsident (President of German State)
2. Countersignature (handwritten): Reichspostminister Georg Schätzel (State Minister of Post)
In addition four pages congratulation card with 20 autographs (possibly co-workers).
