Military decoration from the II. World War, established on 18.10.1939. Awarded for war mertis, that didn’t qualify to be acknowledged with the Iron Cross. The KVK with Swords was awarded for an action under enemy fire or special merits in warfare.
Cross not marked, but a known variant, described on page 234 in book by Maerz/Stimson. Manufacturer: Hersteller: Carl Poellath, Schrobenhausen (PKZ Nr. 84). In original old case with LDO mark (Leistungsgemeinschaft Deutscher Ordenhersteller).
Silvered tombac, very nice condition, pinset complete and working. Case undamaged.
