Establshed 1915 for war merit, simultaneously with the Hanseatic Crosses of cities Hamburg and Lübeck. Awarded to soldiers of local Infantry Regiment (3. Hanseatisches IR Lübeck Nr. 162), crew of the ship SMS Lübeck and Lübeck citiziens serving in other military units.

Silvered and enameled copper. Very nice condition, with intact enamel, on original old ribbon.
