Preussen. Allgemeines Ehrenzeichen – General Honor Decoration

Award established in 1810 by King Friedrich Wilhelm III, and awarded with his cipher until 1918. Awarded for various civilian services to persons who do not qualify for the award by an Order. One of the longest existing decorations of the Kingdom of Prussia, which occurs in a large variety of variants. Here a later type, coined from approx. 1907.
Silver with nice patina. In the old original case. Box in very nice condition.
