Fürstentum Reuss. Goldene Verdienstmedaille mit Schwertern – Principality of Reuss. Gold Merit Medal with Swords

Decoration established 1885 as one the lower classes of the Fürstlich Reussisches Ehrenkreuz. Swords were added 1909 for war merit. The gold medal was awarded to senior non-commissioned officers (from Vizefeldwebel upwards), officer deputies and ensigns with at least 12 years of service.
Gilt silver with fine patina, gilding on face partially gone, back very nice preserved. On the original old ribbon.
