Albrechtsorden. Ritterkreuz 2. Klasse mit Schwertern – Albert Order – Knight Cross 2nd Class with Swords

Established in 1850 by the king Albert, since 1876 Knight Cross divided to 1st and 2nd Class.
Type manufactured 1914-1918: one-part medallions with flat edge, swords embossed in one side.
On lower corss arm marked S for silver, on the side arms the manufacturers marks: Scharffenberg, Dresden.
Silver, gilt or enameled. Surface enamel chip at the lower corss arm back, otherwise very nice condition. On the original old ribbon, taken form a medal bar.
