First World War type, instututed on 3.3.1918 by Emperor Wilhelm II. Wound Badge in Silver (mattweiss) was awarded for three or four wounds. Awarded 1918-1936.

Hollow iron with copper or brass layer. Silvering on face partially missing, back well preserved. Pinset complete and working.
