Verwundetenabzeichen in Mattweiss – Silver Wound Badge

First World War type, instututed on 3.3.1918 by Emperor Wilhelm II. Wound Badge in Silver (mattweiss) was awarded for three or four wounds. Awarded 1918-1936.
Uncommon variant, is higher (45 mm) and narrower (36 mm) as the usual wound badges. Also the helemt is different. This pattern is attributed to the manufacturer Godet, Berlin.
Hollow iron, with alomost complete silvering. Pinset complete and working, badge in very nice condition.
