First World War type, instututed on 3.3.1918 by Emperor Wilhelm II. Wound Badge in Silver (mattweiss) was awarded for three or four wounds. Awarded 1918-1936.
Hollow iron, with almost complete silvering on face, back top preserved. Pinset complete and working, badge in very nice condition. Catch on a characteristic foot.
